Who is the controller?

Meridiaan Bank N.V., Zuidplein 36, 1077 XV Amsterdam, is the data controller for the personal data we process about you.

What we collect

Identification data (name, date of birth, ID document), contact details, financial data (transactions, balances), device and usage data when you use online banking, and any information you provide when contacting us.

Why we process it

To provide banking services, comply with our legal obligations (anti-money-laundering, tax reporting), prevent fraud, and improve our services. Marketing communications are always opt-in.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email privacy@meridiaan.bank to exercise your rights, or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

How long we keep data

We retain your data for as long as you have a relationship with us and, after closure, for as long as required by Dutch law (typically 7 years for financial records).
