1. Who we are

Meridiaan Bank N.V. ("Meridiaan", "we", "us") is a bank incorporated in the Netherlands, with its registered office at Zuidplein 36, 1077 XV Amsterdam. We are licensed as a credit institution and supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM).

2. Your account

By opening a Meridiaan account you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the specific product conditions provided when you sign up. You must be at least 18 years old and legally resident in the Netherlands or another eligible country.

3. Using online banking

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, two-factor codes, and devices safe. Never share your password. We will never ask for your full password by phone or email.

4. Fees and charges

Everyday Checking has no monthly fee. Other product fees are set out in our Tariff Schedule, available in-branch or on request.

5. Deposit guarantee

Eligible deposits are protected by the Dutch Deposit Guarantee Scheme up to €100,000 per depositor.

6. Complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you may refer the complaint to Kifid, the Dutch financial services complaints institute.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.
